In Aymara Lakauta means 'House of Earth". Lakauta is a social responsible firm based in social values that respect and support aymara, quechua and guarani artisans and value their ability to create wonderful crafts based on their traditions and culture.

We believe it is possible to encourage trade based in ethical values and social responsibility; protecting our environment, the artisans work and our clients interests.
 

In Lakauta we :

    * Promote the artisans art around the world.

    * Train and inform the artisans about fashion tendencies around the world and all the requirements to sell their products abroad.

The artisans receive a fair price for their product. A percentage of  the sales made by Lakauta are intended to improve the lives of families in Bolivia.

The Lakauta artisans represent the biodiversity and cultural richness of Bolivia and South America. The products come from the highlands, valleys and plains of Bolivia.
